Precision Farming / Raven Cart Automation™
Raven Cart Automation™
Raven Cart Automation makes it easier for any operator – at any skill level – to effectively run an unload on-the-go operation. When the grain cart driver is in range (within 229 feet) of the harvester, they can sync the cart's direction and speed with the auger of the combine. This allows the combine operator to take control of bin positioning, ensuring a smooth harvest operation.
How Raven Cart Automation Works
Raven Car Automation makes efficient harvest operations simple with intuitive grain car remote and display controls. It allows up to six machines to work together on the same radio channel with preset initial sync points. The user interface makes it easy to see the sync window and location of vehicles in the field.

Controlling Raven Cart Automation is a breeze with customizable joystick and button control at the combine operator's fingertips.
- Before starting the operation, the sync point needs to be set. To set the sync point:
- Drive the grain cart operator drive next to the combine while the combine is sitting still.
- Then, have the combine operator tell the grain cart driver to stop when the auger is in the center of the grain cart.
- The grain cart driver presses the "Save Sync Points" button.
- Using the intuitive display interface or cart remote while driving, the combine operator calls the cart to sync. The cart operator receives a notification.
- When in range (70 m/229 feet), the grain cart operator engages auto guidance and auto propulsion. Raven Cart Automation then brings the grain cart to the defined offset or sync point.
- Once synced, combine operators can use the followings controls:
- Fore/aft nudging: To ensure the cart is filled evenly from front to back, the combine operator can nudge their auger positioning forward or backward between 5 nudge zones using the cart remote or display.
- Left/right nudging: To ensure the cart is filled evenly from left to right, the combine operator can move the tractor left or right in increments of 6 inches using the cart remote or display.
- Re-sync on the go: The combine operator can reset their sync point using the display or cart remote.
- Hold grain cart speed: If the combine operator wants to manually move their sync positioning, they can command the grain cart to move forward at the same speed.
- Once the grain cart is full, the combine operator sends a notification that dismisses the grain cart operator. The grain cart operator simply steers to disengage Raven Cart Automation and drives to the unloading point.
- If the multiple machines are running in the field, the combine operator can send the next call to the next grain cart to sync, and the process repeats.
